All Pakistani citizens, including residents of Gilgit-Baltistan and AJK, can apply. Can I apply without using the web portal? Applications are accepted only through the designated online portal. Physical forms or alternate methods are not allowed. Do I need a driving license to apply? You can apply without a driving license however, you need a driving license in order to drive around. Can I still apply if I already got an EV vehicle through any government scheme? This will be a duplication of benefit. How can I track my application and delivery? You can track your application and vehicle delivery status through the program’s online portal. How will I know if my application is approved? You will be notified through the web portal, SMS, or email once your bank approves the application and your vehicle is allocated. Can I cancel or withdraw my application? There is no formal withdrawal policy stated. Cancellations will depend on the rules of your bank. Can I buy a model with higher pricing than Rs 250,000? Yes, you may choose a model priced above PKR 250,000. However, in such cases, the price difference (in excess of Rs. 250,000) must be paid by the user in advance. For example: if a model is priced at PKR 300,000, the user will be required to pay the additional PKR 50,000 upfront over and above the initial/down payment to the bank once their application has been approved. Do I need to pay anything upfront? If the price of selected model of EV is Rs 250,000/- or less then you will only need to pay first installment, first year insurance and bank documentation charges. However, if the price of selected model of EV is more than 250,000/- you will have to pay difference of the price in addition to above mentioned charges. Can I choose the vehicle brand or model? Yes, but only from among the pre-approved models listed on the portal. These are shortlisted based on safety, performance, and compliance standards. Is the scheme available in rural areas as well? The program is available nationwide, including rural areas. Can government employees apply? Government employees are eligible, subject to the same terms and conditions as other citizens. What if the vehicle has technical issues after delivery? The vehicle will be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Can someone else drive the vehicle if I am the registered applicant? Yes, but the vehicle must be used responsibly and only by licensed drivers. Misuse or violation may affect your eligibility for future government schemes. What is the Self Finance category under the PAVE Program? The Self Finance category allows applicants to purchase electric 2-wheelers or 3-wheelers using their own funds instead of taking a bank loan. It is intended for individuals who can afford to pay the vehicle cost directly and still wish to benefit from the government subsidy offered under the PAVE Program. Who can apply under the Self Finance category? Any Pakistani citizen with a valid CNIC can apply under this category, provided they:Have the financial means to pay the vehicle cost (including the government subsidy which will be disbursed later).Meet the eligibility and verification criteria defined under the PAVE Program.Are applying for the vehicle for personal or commercial use within Pakistan.
